1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Voyager portal at voyager.awesometravel.co.za, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the portal. These terms apply to all applicants, users, and visitors of the portal.

2. About the Service

Voyager is an applicant management portal operated by Awesome Travel (Pty) Ltd, a South African company that facilitates J-1 work exchange and cultural training programmes placing South African participants with host employers in the United States of America. The portal allows applicants to submit documents, track their application progress, and communicate with the Awesome Travel team.

3. Eligibility

To use this portal and participate in our programmes, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid South African identity document or passport.
• Meet the programme-specific eligibility requirements communicated to you by Awesome Travel.
• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information throughout the application process.

4. Applicant Responsibilities

As an applicant using the Voyager portal, you agree to:

• Provide only truthful, accurate, and complete information in your application and all documents submitted.
• Upload only authentic documents. Submitting fraudulent, altered, or falsified documents is a serious offence and will result in immediate disqualification and may be reported to relevant authorities.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Respond promptly to requests for additional information or documents from the Awesome Travel team.
• Comply with all programme requirements, visa conditions, and host employer expectations for the duration of the programme.
• Notify Awesome Travel of any changes to your personal circumstances that may affect your eligibility or participation.

5. Application Process & Placement

Submission of an application through the Voyager portal does not guarantee acceptance into a programme or placement with a host employer. Awesome Travel reserves the right to accept or decline applications at its sole discretion, based on programme eligibility criteria, available placements, and US visa requirements. We will communicate the outcome of your application to you as promptly as possible.

6. Fees & Payments

Programme fees and payment terms will be communicated to you separately in writing. All fees are subject to the payment plan agreed upon between you and Awesome Travel. Fees paid are generally non-refundable once programme processing has commenced, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Awesome Travel is not responsible for fees paid directly to government agencies (e.g., US Embassy visa fees, SEVIS fees) which are non-refundable by nature.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and functionality of the Voyager portal is the intellectual property of Awesome Travel (Pty) Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of this portal without our prior written consent. The documents and personal information you submit remain your own property.

8. Limitation of Liability

Awesome Travel acts as a facilitator between applicants and US host employers and programme sponsors. While we make every reasonable effort to assist applicants, we cannot guarantee visa approval, specific placement outcomes, or programme results, as these are subject to decisions by third parties including the US Embassy and programme sponsors. Awesome Travel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal or participation in a programme.

9. Termination

Awesome Travel reserves the right to suspend or terminate your portal access at any time if you breach these Terms of Service, provide false information, or engage in conduct that is harmful to the programme, other applicants, or host employers. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at info@awesometravel.co.za.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the portal shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the portal after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
